HONORING THE SUBTLETY OF LIFE
MAY 13-17, 2026 • ITALIAN DOLOMITES

For five days, we gather in the serenity of Northern Italy, tucked between the lush valleys of the Alps and Dolomites.
A space where time slows down and your senses awaken.
Hosted at Naturhotel Lüsnerhof, a family-run wellness hotel where nature and luxury meet. Built from stone, wood, and clay, the space itself feels like an embrace. A true hidden gem I am honored to share with you. A space for you to slow down, root, and return to what’s real.
Between a multiverse of forest saunas, mountain views, and chic dinners, every detail invites presence. The silence of the valley, the sound of water, and the warmth of the spa hold you as we move through these days of sound, stillness, release, activation and transformation.
We will nourish body and soul with high-quality foods, seasonal four-course dinners, unwind in therapeutic saunas and warm pools, and explore our inner landscapes through sound journeys, Kundalini yoga, guided journaling, sweatlodge and hikes in the scenic surroundings of the dolomites.

A Poetic Program
A return to rhythm.
To your breath. Your body. The mountain’s silence.
Steam rising from forest saunas. The scent of pine and salt. A bowl singing somewhere in the distance.
Mornings that unfold slowly.
Coffee, pages, stillness.
The gentle pulse of sound and ceremony.
Nourishment that melts on your tongue.
Hands warmed by tea, skin kissed by mountain air.
Moments of solitude, woven with laughter and song. Earth beneath bare feet.
To rediscover the subtle magic of being alive.

Meet Kala
Karla founded Sound of Kala with the intention of building bridges through sound.
Her path has taken her across the world, from South America to India, Bhutan, and many quiet mountain valleys. She spent her childhood summers in a Swiss mountain ashram, soaking up the vibrations of ancient mantras and traditions of the hinduistic temple that still pulse through her veins.
Her journey with music has always gone beyond her Bachelor’s degree in music therapy. It has been a lifelong study through her voice. Exploring the world through its sounds and melodies, Karla weaves her experiences into sonic landscapes that invite deep presence.
Since 2021, she has curated and guided transformative spaces, from intimate retreats to corporate gatherings, leading participants through sound into genuine connection. Her work is rooted in the understanding that sound moves you at your core.
Through her powerful voice, guitar, and crystal bowls, Karla channels the inherent healing power of music. She studied with teachers in the Buddhist tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh and was mentored through her early twenties by Lama Irene, a Swiss Buddhist nun who spent 13 years in silence.
Karla’s approach is grounded in knowledge, experience, and deep intuition. She has a gift for feeling the space and the needs of her audience, creating sonic experiences that are both touching and transformative. Her voice, often described as angelic and deeply moving, becomes a vessel for alchemy: transforming her own depth of experience into song and sound.
In recent years, Karla has trained over 50 sound practitioners through her signature Sound of Kala Training in Amsterdam and beyond. She collaborates with leading brands such as Gisou, WeTransfer, and Samsung to bring sound healing into modern spaces. Bridging ancient wisdom and contemporary life.
Her work continues to inspire a growing community of sound healers, artists, and seekers. All united by the same vision: to remember, through sound, what it means to be human.
